Jeans shirts
Quality materials, comfort and relaxation. The denim shirts, you will wear it with happiness during an evening with friends or a weekend in family. Our denim shirts are available in 3 categories: raw denim, that is to say the raw fabric without washing. Most of the raw shades are nevertheless pre-washed to give a very slight color difference on the raised edges (throat, collar and pocket edges). The denim stone wash of a medium blue (standard) is the most common medium blue denim shirt. Be careful, however, that the blue of the jeans is not too electric for fear of looking blue. With us, no risk we have everything planned. Finally, the last color is the bleached denim (from the English bleach that is to say a bleaching). It is the lightest color (sky blue). A bleach wash goes from very light blue to medium blue, the wash can be more or less forced. The factories that make the fabrics for denim shirts are generally the same as those that make the fabrics for your jeans (pants). The only difference being that denim fabrics for pants are generally thicker and rougher. At Première Manche, we have essentially two ranges of denim shirts: the luxury range, without American collar, with white mother-of-pearl buttons and a rather discreet texture made in Italy and the Japanese range, a modernized cowboy shirt with more "workwear" fabrics, i.e. fabrics on which the texture has more relief and there are more shades. The first can be worn with a tie and under a jacket. The second one is made of cotton and a little bit of stretch, it's the ultra resistant shirt for your Saturday afternoon jobs that will last for years.

Which denim shirt to choose?
The denim shirt comes from the Western United States and more precisely from its Western culture, highlighted by an abundant filmography. More than 100 years after its creation, the denim shirt still has its place in the world of men's fashion. The following texts will help you to find your way around.
Definition of denim
Denim is a cotton fabric originally from the city of Nimes that became popular in the late 19th century when merchants had the idea to transform this fabric into work pants. In the 20th century, several American companies replaced the French companies and made denim the emblematic pants of America. The weaving of a denim fabric is characteristic with micro stripes more or less thick in diagonal when you look at the fabric closely. Since then, the production of canvas is made mainly in China and India with some very famous factories in Italy or Japan that have developed a real know-how and unique specificities.
What to wear a denim shirt with
Denim has become a basic garment for pants, shirts or jackets. There are even jeans ties.
By default, the jeans are blue more or less light or gray. Like all our blue shirts, the jeans shirt can be worn with everything: it has a casual connotation but can be perfectly associated with a jacket or even a tie. Rarely for a material, it is very easy to associate the denim shirt with denim pants of the same color and this is what makes its success. We can also associate it with a colored chino (beige, brown or pastel colors dark enough). The denim shirt finally, is very easily wearable under a sweater.
Why choose a denim shirt from Première Manche
Première Manche denim shirts fall into two categories: the formal denim shirt can be worn with or without a jacket. With a casual chic style, it doesn't have all the cowboy details of the western type denim shirt. It is treated more like a thicker blue shirt and slightly mottled. On this type of shirt, no pockets, a simple throat and an American collar or hidden buttons. The casual denim shirt is usually shorter in length (it can't be tucked into pants), and it includes many of the details of the original cowboy shirt: shoulder yokes, double pockets with flaps, snaps, and a rounded back piece.
