Our opinion
A beautiful poplin from Italy, woven on machines that are over 100 years old.
The fabric is thick and therefore very durable; this is the ultimate check shirt: discreet pattern, plain appearance from a distance, little contrast in the checks. From a distance, the fabric almost looks plain. Up close, the checks are discreet and the vertical lines are more pronounced than the horizontal ones.
With checked shirts, however discreet (the checks), prefer plain ties or suits.
