HOW TO WEAR A FLANNEL SHIRT

The flannel shirt for the weekend

In autumn and mid-season, we like it open on a plain tee shirt (especially not patterns), it replaces the cardigan without being as warm. For that it is necessary that it is nevertheless sufficiently thick to contrast with the smoothness of the tee-shirt.

In winter, we choose it in check or plain, with original colors such as brick red or bottle green, and we associate it with raw materials: a wool sweater with a round neck or a cardigan in a neutral color, jeans and boots for a casual look, or over a shirt on a dark turtleneck for the layering fans. We compete with a hat and a scarf and the look is amazing.

The flannel shirt for a family party or an evening with friends

The idea is to be elegant but still cool or to be relaxed but with a touch of work... In this case, we opt for a plain or checked shirt, jeans or a beige, blue or khaki chino, leather shoes and a tweed jacket of sober color.
